April Willy
April is a lifelong resident of Burnsville and has proudly served the youth of Yancey County as a middle school teacher for the past 21 years. Teaching has opened the door for her to make many meaningful connections, as well as an opportunity to learn more about the people and the rich history that makes Yancey County the special place it is.
April earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Mars Hill University and holds additional certifications in 7–9 grade English Language Arts and Science. As a National Board Certified Teacher, she has spent years developing strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to helping others succeed. April recently earned her North Carolina Real Estate License and is looking forward to connecting with clients. She is excited about guiding you through the home-buying and selling process with the same dedication, integrity, and attention to detail that have defined her as a teacher.
